Due to the customized nature of our work, refunds are generally not provided once a service has been initiated. Below are the conditions under which refunds may be considered and additional scenarios in which refunds are not applicable.
1. Eligibility for Refunds
Refunds may be considered only under the following specific conditions:
Service Not Initiated: If the service you have purchased has not yet commenced and you contact us within 24 hours of payment, you may be eligible for a refund minus a processing fee.
Service Delay: In cases of significant delays in service delivery beyond the agreed timeline (barring unforeseen circumstances), we may offer a partial refund or credit toward future services.
Technical Error: If a duplicate payment or a billing error occurs due to a technical issue, please notify us immediately. A full refund will be processed after verification.
2. Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be granted under the following circumstances:
Services Already Rendered: Once work has begun or is completed, refunds are not available. Services such as editing, ghostwriting, design, and formatting are time-intensive and irreversible in nature.
Dissatisfaction After Completion: We encourage client feedback throughout the project and provide revisions as part of our commitment to quality. Refunds will not be provided after revisions have been made to address feedback or if the service is deemed complete.
Change of Mind or Project Cancellation: Refunds are not issued if you decide to cancel the service due to a change of mind or altered circumstances.
Dissatisfaction with Subjective Aspects: Due to the creative and subjective nature of our work, dissatisfaction based on personal preferences (e.g., specific design choices, writing style) is not eligible for a refund after revision opportunities have been provided.
Partial Project Completion: If the service is partially completed and you choose to terminate the contract, refunds will not be issued for the portion of work already performed. Payment is required for all work completed up to the termination point.
Inaccurate Client Information: Failure to provide accurate project details, information, or timely responses that affect project progress will nullify refund eligibility.
Violation of Terms of Service: If a client violates our Terms of Service, including but not limited to the use of the work for unlawful purposes, breach of intellectual property rights, or abusive behavior towards our staff, no refund will be granted.
Non-Adherence to Feedback Timeline: If feedback or approvals are delayed on the client’s part and result in a delayed project timeline, refund requests based on timing will not be entertained.
3. Refund Process
To initiate a refund request under eligible circumstances, please contact us at support@desversobookpublishers.com with your order details and a clear explanation of the reason for the request.
Process Timeline:
Request Review: We will review your refund request and respond within 7 business days.
Refund Approval: Approved refunds will be processed within 10 business days, minus any applicable fees, and will be issued to the original payment method.
4. Chargebacks and Dispute Resolution
Clients agree to contact us before initiating any chargeback request with their payment provider. Disputes will be handled through our support team, and clients must adhere to our dispute resolution procedures. Unauthorized chargebacks are considered a violation of this refund policy and may result in legal action.
5. Modifications to Refund Policy
